Hunters usually write the first comment explaining why the product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by makers, and roughly 60% of #1 Product-of-the-Day winners are self-hunted too — but a well-followed hunter still acts as a strong signal of quality to the rest of the community, which is why “top hunters” lists matter to anyone planning a launch.
This all-time leaderboard is sorted by most upvotes earned across their hunts and is computed from every featured launch in the Product Hunt archive — no time cutoff on Product Hunt. We only count products that Product Hunt itself featured (i.e. that appeared on a daily leaderboard), so a hunter's rank here lines up with the launches the wider community actually saw.
