I've struggled with falling asleep for a long time - trying everything I could find to help. This started out as a fun idea but after building a really basic proof-of-concept app, I found that it actually helped.
Don't get me wrong - it's not a perfect solution or silver bullet for all sleep problems, for one thing: looking at a screen before bed generally goes against most advice. But my personal experience is that in a short (1-2 minute) session, I was more often than not able to fall asleep when I was otherwise struggling.
