Yawn Time
Yawning is contagious. Watch people yawn. Fall asleep.
Yawn Time helps you wind down with contagious yawn videos, ambient sleep sounds, a private diary, and a gentle sleep timer. Seeing someone yawn can trigger an empathetic physiological response through the mirror-neuron system. Yawn Time gives you that gentle visual cue on demand, then pairs it with sounds and timers that help the rest of the room quiet down.
I've struggled with falling asleep for a long time - trying everything I could find to help. This started out as a fun idea but after building a really basic proof-of-concept app, I found that it actually helped.
Don't get me wrong - it's not a perfect solution or silver bullet for all sleep problems, for one thing: looking at a screen before bed generally goes against most advice. But my personal experience is that in a short (1-2 minute) session, I was more often than not able to fall asleep when I was otherwise struggling.
