I spent years working in construction, electrical, and project management, and I kept hearing the same three questions from homeowners:

The problem wasn't a lack of good businesses. The problem was that trust wasn't visible. Great companies often looked the same as everyone else online, while homeowners had no easy way to separate genuine reputation from marketing.
That led me to ask a simple question: What if we could bring the power of traditional word of mouth into the digital age without losing what makes it so valuable?
Over the past few years, I built Word of Mouth to do exactly that. The platform helps homeowners hire with confidence while helping trustworthy businesses stand out through verified trust, earned reputation, authentic customer experiences, and a comprehensive Trust Score that makes trust visible. Members also gain access to the Service Provider Business Center, a growing library of business education, professional tools, templates, and resources designed to help them operate better businesses, build stronger customer relationships, and earn more referrals.
My goal has never been to build another review site or contractor directory. It's to create a platform where trust becomes every business's greatest competitive advantage by transforming the world's most trusted form of marketing into a digital experience that benefits both homeowners and service providers.
