VerifHabitat is a platform where tenants can leave public feedback about a housing rental in France before or after moving out. The goal is to make the rental market more transparent by helping future tenants avoid bad surprises like humidity, noise, dishonest landlords or unsafe conditions. Unlike traditional listing platforms, VerifHabitat focuses on real tenant experience and long-term housing quality.
I built VerifHabitat after seeing how hard it is to know the real condition of a rental before moving in. Most housing platforms only show the owner’s side and polished photos.
I wanted a simple way for tenants to share their actual experience with a place: noise, humidity, landlord issues, neighborhood problems, etc. The project started as a small side project and evolved into a public platform focused on transparency in the French rental market.
The project is open and community-driven, and I’m interested in feedback about moderation, privacy and how to prevent fake reviews while keeping the platform useful.
