I built VerifHabitat after seeing how hard it is to know the real condition of a rental before moving in. Most housing platforms only show the owner’s side and polished photos. I wanted a simple way for tenants to share their actual experience with a place: noise, humidity, landlord issues, neighborhood problems, etc. The project started as a small side project and evolved into a public platform focused on transparency in the French rental market. The project is open and community-driven, and I’m interested in feedback about moderation, privacy and how to prevent fake reviews while keeping the platform useful.
