✅ Why I built UpSkill
💔 Lack of safety skills cose tragedies each day.
While there are a lot of sources of safety courses there is still a big problem with practice. You need to live-through scenarios and be an actor to obtain skill.
I'm a young father and I feel responsible to protect his life and wellbeing.
That’s why I'm building UpSkill, coz I believe there’s a place to make a real impact.

UpSkill is an app for developing safety and first aid skills through AI-driven, scenario-based training and science-backed content for the parents and their kids.
💥 How does it works?
I've built UpSkill around 2 pillars:
Scenario-based trainings
All training is guided by an AI-backed coach who will guide you or your kid through situation. Personalized feedback and best practices will be provided after each training.
Science-backed content
Because it's so important to be awaered on best and most proven facts and guidelines. It's always right to double check your knowledge.

I registered on your app to learn and see how it works. The situation scenarios are interesting and helpful! What confuses me at the moment is the registration path. When I register, I have to choose whether I am a mother, father or child, how old my children are, whether I have any training, etc. And in filling all this out, I expect to see some situations designed for parents. Instead, I see situations designed for children. Also, just from the description of your app, I inferred that the app can be used by both parent and child. But when I see the scenarios of the situations, I realize that my 7 year olds will not be able to play with the scenarios without my help. Primarily because their reading skills are not yet good enough to understand the situation. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you divide the ages into 0-3, 3-6, 7-14 year old groups. I think the 7-14 year old range is too broad, and in terms of life situations, a 7 year old is much closer to a 5-6 year old than a 14 year old. Also, I suggest another case of water safety is pool water safety, simply because oceans are not everywhere, unlike pools. And, according for example to US statistics, many tragedies occur in swimming pools. Hope my feedback is of any help for you and good luck!

Pavel, congrats on the launch! It’s one thing to understand the importance of safety, but another to effectively communicate and teach these complex topics to the children. Some of them might be new even for parents and educational organizations or challenging to discuss with children.

Don't have any kids at the moment but I think platforms like this are a really great resource for parents and even folks caring for children (aunts, uncles etc.)
@pavel_lisovsky As an Auntie for life with no plans to have my own kids, I have never read the old school parenting books to know how to keep kids safe. Having an app like this will help give me easy access to understand child safety while teaching the little ones in our family. I can't wait to share this with my brother and sister-in-law!
