I built UnderLimit after repeatedly running into the same frustrating problem: a website or form would accept a file only if it was under a specific size.
Most compression tools make you choose a quality level, export the file, check the result, and try again if it is still too large.
I wanted something simpler: choose the maximum file size you actually need — 500 KB, 2 MB, 5 MB, or whatever the limit is — and let the app work toward that target.
I also wanted files to stay private, so photos and PDFs are processed directly on the device.
UnderLimit is deliberately focused on doing this one job simply.
