I run an adventure travel website in Latin America and kept hitting the same wall: WordPress has nothing for outdoor route publishing. You could grab WP Google Maps for a pin, ACF for custom fields, a lightbox plugin for photos — but they don't talk to each other, and you're writing shortcode glue code on every single page.
I wanted something that treated Routes, Points of Interest, and Guides as first-class content types — with an interactive map and elevation chart that just appear automatically when you publish. No Elementor, no blocks, no configuration gymnastics. So I built TrailPlugin. The Lite version is free (1 route, basic map).
