When managing a team, I find it time-consuming to build and maintain quarterly and yearly plans. And it's hard to play around with different scenarios to answer questions that might come up like: Can you take on a new project? And how would that affect your roadmap? What if we make Project A lower priority, does that push any other projects out past their target end dates? I have a master spreadsheet to track everything, but at the end of each quarter, I want to reflect on how our plans changed. Leadership asks "Why did this project slip by a month?" and I'd like to be able to see when we made that change and what caused us to push a project out by a month. I find it very cumbersome to play around with different scenarios and track history using spreadsheets, so I built TPlanz to help with team resource planning and high-level project tracking. TPlanz also includes a paid feature that gives you a high-level financial view of all your projects. We connect to Quickbooks Desktop or Quickbooks Online and your time-tracking software to show how profitable your projects are at any given time. Anyone else having similar issues? I'd love to chat.

Love this. I've been trying to hack something together and plan a roadmap for littlebro.app but it just ends up being more work and stress. Definitely trying this out!

I like the idea of being able to quickly see the impact of changes on a roadmap. One thing I’m wondering though: How does TPlanz handle multiple, overlapping projects with shared resources? Is there a way to easily spot resource conflicts or overloads when adjusting priorities? Thanks!

I’ve seen similar tools, but TPlanz's timeline feature really stand out it add a unique visual aspect that refreshing

I’d suggest adding a feature for reminders on key project dates that could help keep teams aligned!

Love the idea behind TPlanz! It’s great to see a tool that adapts to the needs of businesses, whether they’re just starting out or well-established.

Someone I know was struggling with team workload management i think TPlanz will be perfect for them cant wait to share it

That's a fantastic idea! Focusing on high-level project management tools tailored for architecture and engineering would indeed streamline operations significantly. Great vision for empowering project managers!

It sounds like you’ve built a really helpful tool with TPlanz! Managing project timelines, resources, and keeping track of changes can definitely be a challenge, especially when leadership needs clear answers about why certain deadlines were missed. The ability to model different scenarios and track the history of changes is something that a lot of teams could benefit from. The integration with financial data is a great feature too, as it can give a complete view of not just the project timeline but also the profitability, which is key for decision-making. I’m sure there are others facing similar challenges. If anyone’s interested in simplifying project planning and tracking, TPlanz sounds like a solution worth exploring. Would love to hear more about how it’s working for teams in practice!

Kudos on the launch, @Zech. I can see TPlanz being a real time-saver for teams managing multiple resources.

TPlanz sounds like a real lifesaver for project management! Love the idea of easily playing with different scenarios and tracking changes over time. Have you considered adding a feature for automated notifications when a project is at risk of slipping? It could help teams proactively address potential delays. Excited to see how this tool evolves - great job addressing a common pain point in project planning!
