Hey PH, Johannes here. This started as an embarrassing internal failure. At Swat.io we run a social media management tool for 1,700+ brands, so we thought getting our own people posting on LinkedIn would be easy and obvious. Seven signed up. Two to three were still posting a month later. The rest? Did not know what to write about, did not stay motivated enough over time. Our very own social media manager tried to keep momentum, but she did not have time for a 1:1 sparring with everyone. On the other hand, Claude and other tools came up and suddenly there was AI-written long-form content everywhere. It just did not sound any human anymore after AI took over on it's own to prepare full content schedules. We lost even more people who were excited in the first place. As software as a service builders, we sat together and discussed how can we improve the situation for us internally and for our customers. And after watching the first Ted Lasso episode of the current season, it was obvious, what was missing: A coach that helps you become better on your own. thestory.run does exactly that. The coach asks you questions, the way a good interviewer would, until you know what you actually want to say and why it's worth someone's time. Then it hands you the arc and marks what carries the post. You write the words. Always. It never learns your style, because imitating you is just ghostwriting with extra steps. It remembers what you said you wanted to be known for, so it can tell you when you're drifting. If you want a generic post in 30 seconds, there are 50 better products here today. To also brighten up how tools can be built in a modern age: We made it free for up to five people with no trial clock and no feature gates. Above that you pay 1 euro per coaching session and nothing else. We're super curious to see how this works.
