Find the best tapas in Spain, city by city. Anyone can add a tapa from anywhere in the world: photo, bar, publish. Voting works differently. You can only vote while you are in that city, so every ranking is built by people who actually ate the dish. No paid placements, no promoted bars, no sponsored positions. Open your city, see what is at the top, and go settle the argument.

Hi Product Hunt, Every food ranking I have ever used was voted on by people who were never there. That is the problem I wanted to fix. The Best Tapa ranks tapas in Spain, city by city, and it has one rule that decides everything: you can only vote on a tapa while you are in that city. Anyone anywhere can add a tapa. Snap the photo, tag the bar, publish it. But the vote only counts if you showed up. What that gives you: - A ranking per city, built by people who actually ate the dish - No paid placements, no promoted bars, no sponsored positions - A reason to walk into a bar you would never have found otherwise Spain gets close to 100 million visitors a year and most of them eat tapas off the same twenty lists. The good ones are in bars nobody has posted yet. If you are in Spain today, open your city, see what is at the top, and go settle the argument. I would love feedback on the location rule in particular. It is the hardest part of the product and the whole reason to trust the numbers. Santi

Who hunted The Best Tapa?

The Best Tapa was hunted by Santiago Tacoronte. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
