Tenshoku Pad is an open-source, privacy-focused job search tracker for organizing applications, notes, and opportunities without ads, recruiters, or data selling.
I spent months looking for the perfect job. The perfect company, the perfect salary, the perfect tech stack, the perfect remote policy. Every day I opened job boards, saved vacancies for later, compared companies, read reviews, analyzed requirements, and convinced myself that I just needed to find the right opportunity.
Then I realized something. Finding a job and getting a job are not the same thing.
The offer that changed my career didn’t come from a vacancy I had researched for weeks. It came from an application I almost didn’t send.
I used to think rejections were something to avoid. Now I see them as part of the process. You don’t get an offer by finding the perfect vacancy. You get an offer by going through enough interviews until one of them turns into the right opportunity.
Most people don’t fail because they apply to too many jobs. They fail because they apply to too few.
That’s one of the reasons I built Tenshoku Pad. Not to magically find jobs. Not to eliminate rejection. Just to help people stay consistent, track their applications, and keep moving forward instead of getting stuck searching for the perfect position.
Because job offers come from interviews. And interviews come from applications.
