Top comment

Hi PH! I'm the maker of Tappie. I love Homebrew but got tired of remembering brew flags and digging through the terminal to see what was installed, outdated, or safe to remove. So I built a native macOS app (SwiftUI, not Electron) that puts all of it in one window: browse and search packages and casks, install/upgrade/uninstall with a click, see an interactive dependency graph, back up and restore your whole setup, and schedule auto-updates. It's completely free. There's also a cross-platform Python edition for Linux. Would love your feedback - especially on what other package managers you'd want supported.

Who hunted Tappie?

Tappie was hunted by Mihai Burlac. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
