Tappie
Native Homebrew package manager GUI for macOS
Manage Homebrew without the command line. Browse, install, upgrade and uninstall packages and casks, visualize dependencies, schedule auto-updates, and filter with plain-language on-device AI. Native SwiftUI, macOS 14+. Free.
Hi PH! I'm the maker of Tappie.
I love Homebrew but got tired of remembering brew flags and digging through the terminal to see what was installed, outdated, or safe to remove. So I built a native macOS app (SwiftUI, not Electron) that puts all of it in one window: browse and search packages and casks, install/upgrade/uninstall with a click, see an interactive dependency graph, back up and restore your whole setup, and schedule auto-updates.
It's completely free. There's also a cross-platform Python edition for Linux.
Would love your feedback - especially on what other package managers you'd want supported.

Who hunted Tappie?
Tappie was hunted by Mihai Burlac. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
