Somehow was built because I needed a place to post product updates after launch. I realized that no matter what I released in the future, I would face this problem. Creating and maintaining my own changelog system in the past was a lot of work with very little payoff. And now that I’ve dramatically reduced my Twitter usage, I miss a lot of important updates from products I want to hear about.
Somehow is designed to be a real-time product newspaper made up of products which are already post-launch, with established products able to bring their own changelogs in. Members can sign up to create their own profile to follow specific products that they like and use. A major motivation of mine was to complement Product Hunt and provide a place for makers to commune in what could be some of the darkest periods of their product journey.

Congratulation on the launch. The product sounds promising. Just an ambiguity to clarify. So every product will be posted by the makers and the updates will be provided by the makers on Somehow? or does it gets updates from other platforms and shows it here?
I like this cool idea! It solves the problem that I used to check these products’ updates manually.

I feel like somehow brings together all the product updates from the wild web, and makes an informative network with social aspects - do you see it as a social network?
I am using twitter less, but did you look into into import/export from twitter since there's a lot of product-related updates there
