Hi Product Hunt, I built SnapShelf after getting tired of opening the same storage boxes just to find one item. Most box labels are too vague: "kitchen", "garage", "misc". SnapShelf turns each box into a searchable memory. You create a box, add photos of what is inside, optionally print a QR label, and later search for things like "passport", "ski boots", "Christmas lights" or "USB-C cable". A few choices were important to me: - no account required - works offline - photos and storage data stay on device by default - free plan supports up to 20 boxes - QR labels are optional, not required I would love feedback on the positioning and onboarding. Is "inventory for boxes" clear enough, or would you describe this problem differently?

Who hunted SnapShelf?

SnapShelf was hunted by Sergey Eskin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
