I built Simera because I kept reaching the photo capture part of iOS apps and hitting the same wall: the camera flow was difficult to test properly in the Simulator.
I tried broader Simulator tools, but I wanted something much simpler. Open a menu bar app, enable the camera, then return to your project. No SDK, no test-only code, and no swapping in sample images.
