I built Simera because I kept reaching the photo capture part of iOS apps and hitting the same wall: the camera flow was difficult to test properly in the Simulator.
I tried broader Simulator tools, but I wanted something much simpler. Open a menu bar app, enable the camera, then return to your project. No SDK, no test-only code, and no swapping in sample images.
Simera sends your Mac’s live camera into supported native iOS and Flutter camera flows while keeping everything local.
This is the first public release, so I would genuinely appreciate feedback, especially about camera packages and workflows I have not tested yet.
