Hey everyone, I'm Daniel — I built Sensecast because I was tired of weather apps treating the forecast like a single magic number with no source, no explanation, and no connection to the hazards that actually reach your house.
Everything in the app is live public data (NOAA, USGS, NASA, DOE), so there's no account and nothing to sell. The Weather Academy is my favorite part: every metric has an info button that teaches you the science in three layers — sensation analogy, safety scale, then the actual equations if you want them.
Pro is $2.99/mo or $99.99 lifetime, but radar, hazard trackers, alerts, and the Academy are free forever. Would love your toughest feedback — especially from anyone who's caught their app disagreeing with the sky outside.
