When a user asks Apple or Google for a refund on your app, the store usually just grants it, and you lose money you already earned. RefundHalt contests those requests for you. It pulls the buyer's real data, builds the evidence, and sends the evidence for you, all automatically. Works with IOS, macOS, and Android, RevenueCat, Adapty, or Apphud. Setup takes less than 3 minutes

Hi Product Hunt! I built RefundHalt because most app refunds just get granted. Apple and Google (beginning August 3, 2026) both let developers submit evidence to contest a refund request, but almost nobody does it. To do it yourself, you would need a server listening for store notifications, code to match each request to the buyer, and a pipeline that builds and submits the evidence for every single case. Most developers understandably never build that, so the refund goes through and the money is gone. RefundHalt is that pipeline, already built. The Setup takes just 2 pastes in your store console, no SDK required. From then on it matches every refund request to the buyer, pulls their data, builds the evidence, and contests the case with the store. You see every case and outcome in one dashboard. This is about to matter a lot more on Android. Starting August 3, Google Play will pass chargeback costs to developers: you lose the sale plus the bank's chargeback fee. Google will fight a chargeback for you, but only if you hand them evidence through their review process. RefundHalt answers those reviews automatically. If you build iOS or Android apps, I would love to hear how refunds and chargebacks have hit your revenue.

A dashboard view showing win/loss rates and the actual refund reasons users give would be really useful, so we can spot patterns and maybe fix things in the app that are driving refund requests in the first place.

A dashboard showing the win rate and reasoning behind each appeal would help a lot, even just a simple log of why store reviewers sided with you or not, so you can spot patterns and tweak your refund policy over time.

A 3 minute setup is really nice for a pain point this annoying. One thing I'd love to see is a dashboard view of every contested refund with the outcome, so I can spot patterns like repeat offenders or specific SKUs getting hit way more often. Right now if it just runs in the background I'm flying blind on whether it's actually saving me money or not.

Plugged it into RevenueCat over the weekend and within minutes it flagged a refund request, pulled the receipt and usage data, and submitted a dispute on my behalf. The dashboard makes the whole process feel less of a black box.

Set it up for one of my apps and the RevenueCat integration just worked, no fiddling at all. Glad something finally fights back on these auto-refund bots.
