I'm founder of PantryLedger.
## Why I built this
I was talking to a café owner in Dallas who spent 3 hours every Sunday doing inventory on a spreadsheet. She knew her revenue from Square, but had no idea what her real profit was after food costs.
She's not alone. Most independent cafés doing $300K-$1.5M/year are in the same boat — they track what they sell, but not what they spend.
Enterprise tools like MarketMan and Restaurant365 exist, but they're built for chains with dedicated managers. A 5-person coffee shop doesn't need that complexity (or that price tag).
## The problem
Café owners are drowning in:
