Most couples apps send you daily questions. Not Pink helps you do the stuff. A shared bucket list with a 4-phase flow (Align, Plan, Prepare, Relive) that turns "we should do that sometime" into dates on the calendar. Offline-first, built for couples who've been together long enough to know relationships don't run on autopilot.
I'm Thomas. I built Not Pink because my partner and I kept having the same conversation. "We should go to Lisbon." "We should try that pottery class." Then nothing happens. "We should" isn't a plan.
Every couples app I tried was a daily-question app or a streak tracker. None of them helped us do things together.
So I built the thing I wanted. Every idea moves through four phases:
Align (we both want this)
Plan (pick a when and where)
Prepare (book it, pack it)
Relive (photos and reflections after)
Both partners confirm to advance a phase, which stops one person from dragging the other through life.
A few things under the hood:
Offline-first sync via PowerSync. Works on a plane or a rural Airbnb with no signal.
Kotlin Multiplatform, so I can ship Android once iOS is stable.
No ads, no feed, no streak dashboards pretending to score your relationship.
Would love feedback from makers who've shipped lifestyle or couple apps. If you've got a partner, the test is whether you both open it more than once this week.
Very nice idea and app indeed! I love these kinds of apps that try to do one thing only and do it perfectly well; Very lean, very clean.
A few things:
You have a nice product website with a clean domain notpink.app . Please link to it here.
What's your pricing model? I'm assuming it's a free trial + subscription model. Please mention your pricing somewhere in your website and in this post.
160 MB seems like a lot for a simple app. Did you minify it?
I am currently single and on Android, but would love to try this in the future.
Congrats on your launch @thomas_flad and all the best for what's next!
