Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Aaron, the solo technical founder behind NanoLog. As an engineer, I care deeply about performance and realistic pricing. Whenever I wanted to add a release notes or feedback widget to SaaS projects i have worked on in the past, I was forced to compromise or be shook by the addons and costs. The incumbent tools in this space are incredibly feature-rich, but they usually come with massive, bloated JavaScript bundles that tank Lighthouse scores. Worse, their stylesheets almost always conflict with the host app's global CSS, leading to embarrassing visual bugs. I engineered NanoLog from the ground up to solve this. It’s a unified 3-in-1 platform built specifically for speed, privacy, and developers. Here’s what makes NanoLog different under the hood: 🛡️ Style Safety and Isolation: The widget is a native Web Component. Your host styles can't bleed in, and our styles can't leak out. Zero visual bugs, guaranteed by using the Shadow DOM. ⚡ Ultra-Lightweight: The entire dependency-free bundle is under 17KB (gzipped). It won't hurt your SEO, Core Web Vitals, or page speed. 🎯 JSON Cohort Targeting: Only show specific release notes to specific users based on their data payload (e.g., show "Enterprise Patch" updates to admins only). 🔐 Privacy-First Visual Feedback: Users can attach screenshots to bug reports. Our widget uses client-side HTML5 canvas processing to automatically blackout PII (emails, phone numbers, passwords) before the image ever leaves their browser. 🤝 Secure HMAC Voting: Enterprise-grade signature verification so malicious users can't spoof votes on your roadmap. 🐛 Auto-Diagnostics: When users report a bug, we automatically capture their OS, Browser, Viewport, and JS Console Errors.
