As an engineer, I care deeply about performance and realistic pricing. Whenever I wanted to add a release notes or feedback widget to SaaS projects i have worked on in the past, I was forced to compromise or be shook by the addons and costs. The incumbent tools in this space are incredibly feature-rich, but they usually come with massive, bloated JavaScript bundles that tank Lighthouse scores.
