Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jay, and I built Moniqa on my own.
I started it because every budgeting app I tried wanted my bank login or an account, and I didn't want my spending data sitting on someone else's server. So Moniqa keeps everything on your iPhone. There's no sign-up and nothing to link.
2.0 is a full rebuild for iOS 27:
• Scan a receipt and the amount, store, and date; fill in, read on-device
• Home and Lock Screen widgets with what's left this month
• "Hey Siri, log coffee in Moniqa" / "How much is left in Moniqa?"
• A month-end forecast and budget alerts
• Savings goals, with a card to share when you reach one
• Face ID lock, backup to Files or iCloud Drive
The core app is free. Pro is monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase, because I wanted people who hate subscriptions to have an option too.
