Hi Product Hunt! I’m Thang, the maker of LockLeaf.
I built LockLeaf because most app blockers felt too punishing. I would block distracting apps, get frustrated, then remove the blocker. So I wanted to build a softer loop: keep the apps you like, but make opening them intentional.
LockLeaf adds a quiz gate before distracting apps. Instead of scrolling automatically, you answer a quick quiz or review flashcards first. The goal is to turn screen time into something you earn through learning, not something the feed takes from you.
