Tired of filling out the same job application forms over and over? Exhausted from browsing dozens of job search websites? I've got you covered! Meet LiftmyCV – an AI agent that finds job openings and auto-applies on your behalf. No subscription required.
Dan here, the founder and maker of LiftmyCV. Many of you have probably faced the same pain of browsing endless job boards, tweaking filters, and filling out the same forms over and over. That’s exactly why I built LiftmyCV – an AI-powered tool that finds relevant job openings and auto-applies on your behalf.
Some key highlights:
100% bootstrapped – self-funded and built from the ground up.
Took 11 months to build a stable version instead of the planned 4 months
Fine-tuning AI auto-fill logic has been a beast (and still improving).
GPT responses needed constant adjustments to avoid bad form fills.
Personal insights & next steps:
While building LiftmyCV, I personally tested the service in passive mode and still received dozens of responses from recruiters and companies. I even landed several interviews and job offers. That was proof that it works.
I want to keep LiftmyCV bootstrapped and self-funded, but let’s see what happens next. As many of you know, bootstrapping is tough!
I’ll continue adding new features, refining AI components, and listening to user feedback. You can check out the Canny-based changelog and follow LiftmyCV on social media to see what’s coming next.
Takeaway notes:
Thanks for stopping by and reading LiftmyCV’s story! I’d truly appreciate it if you could give it a try or share it with anyone looking for job opportunities.

I love the concept. Im not necessarily looking to change jobs at the moment but im using it to experiment.
Are you about to tell it specific companies NOT to apply to or specific roles NOT to apply to?
Amazing idea! Does the soft have a setting option where it shows you everything it found and auto-filled but diesn't send wuithout your approval? Would be very suitable for anxious people :)
Amazing product but many job applications forms are super customized according to their needs, how does your tool counter that? Congrats on the launch!
Thanks for creating such a helpful tool for job seekers like myself! Gonna test it out!
Congratulations! I'm very curious about this! @danzaitsev To be honest, as a genuine job seeker, this is very helpful. But I'm not sure if it has provided any reason analysis for unsuccessful application for the position?
So cool to see in action. Looks like a robot has taken control of your browser 🤖
Woah! This is some great sorcery! Congratulations on the launch and mastering the perfect use case for AI.
Awesome! This is something everyone should be using—whether they’re job hunting or already employed. It’s a game-changer for career growth and opportunities! 🚀👏
Congrats on the launch of LiftmyCV! 🎉 This is a game-changing solution for job seekers tackling a major pain point. I'm curious—how does your AI agent filter and rank job listings to match a user’s skills and preferences effectively?
As someone who’s spent way too long tweaking filters and re-entering info across job platforms, I can 100% relate. LiftmyCV sounds like the kind of tool I wish existed sooner.
Not sure how things are globally, but in Vietnam, companies can be a bit sensitive about candidates mass-applying. It’s awkward when a recruiter calls me back and I can’t even recall applying 😅 Would really appreciate a dashboard or summary that helps track where I’ve submitted my CVs.
Nice explainer video, @danzaitsev . Does it remember application history? The same recruiter may have posted the same job opening on Monster and Lever, for instance.
Does it handle writing and uploading cover letters too?
Hey All,
Trying this -- I haven't dived into it far. Initial thoughts -- the onboarding would greatly benefit from auto-save. I just had my progress deleted for some reason - I didn't notice the save button for each section before.
Also, I'm seeing I have to input the same information which is in my resume. Not the most cumbersome thing -- but is an annoyance of filling out job apps generally.
Just finished: the onboarding process is pretty painful. Took a bit longer than I would have liked. Excited to see the results. Agent running in background.
Will update here in one week.
Good luck building this!
Interesting! My main concern would be if the agent started applying for jobs I wouldn't even be interested in. It would be annoying if suddenly I would have to start answering emails with "no thanks, I never meant to apply anyway". Preferably I would have a dashboard with a list of curated job posts across the web that I can manually confirm or deny, and then the agent would prefill the form and then ask for my final confirmation. Idk, maybe that's how your product works rn, wasn't really clear to me! Any way, I like the concept!
Perfect! Do you plan to add any freelance platforms for automated projects search based on areas of expertise?
LiftmyCV's AI-driven approach to automating job applications is intriguing and could significantly streamline the job search process. I'm curious about how the platform ensures the quality and relevance of the applications it submits. Does it tailor applications based on individual user profiles and job descriptions to enhance the chances of securing interviews? Additionally, how does LiftmyCV handle data privacy and security, given the sensitive personal information involved in job applications?
I found your service by chance, it looks interesting, which languages does it work with, only English or does it support other common languages?
