Lantern : Light the way from intention to action I built Lantern because I personally struggled with one of the most frustrating parts of productivity: getting started. It wasn’t always that I didn’t want to do something. Often, I genuinely wanted to do it ,I just had no idea where exactly to start. A big goal would sit on my to-do list, get postponed, and eventually disappear under everything else. Most task managers are great at telling you what you need to do. Lantern is built around a different question: "What can I actually do next?” You give Lantern an intention in your own words, and AI helps turn it into a small, actionable next step. If that step still feels overwhelming, you can ask Lantern to make it smaller until it feels easy enough to start. Lantern also understands that not every intention needs to be done right now. * Have a deadline? Lantern can remind you as it approaches based on urgency. * Not ready to work on something yet? Schedule it for later and bring it back when it matters. * Stuck on something? Tell Lantern what’s getting in the way and get an adapted next step. * Want to keep track of progress? Lantern helps you see your activity and movement over time. * Have something important today? Lantern can surface the actions that matter most. The goal isn't to give you another giant list of things you haven't completed. It's to help you take the next step and know when something can wait. I built Lantern from a problem I personally experienced, and I’m hoping to make productivity feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more actionable. Sometimes you don't need more motivation. You just need a little light showing you where to start.🏮
