Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Shivam.
I built Hexbrief because my bookmarks folder had become a graveyard — 40 tabs and dozens of company engineering posts (Airbnb, Cloudflare, Stripe…) I meant to read and never did.
The problem was never finding good posts. It was that skimming 30 to find the 3 worth my time had become its own job — and half of what looks "technical" is a product announcement in disguise.
So I built a hard filter. Hexbrief watches a vetted set of engineering blogs, runs every post through a quality gate (is there a real system, a concrete tradeoff, an actual result?), and gives you six structured reads a day — problem, approach, results — so you decide in 20 seconds whether the full article is worth opening.
A few deliberate choices:
• Six, then you're done — a daily briefing, not an infinite feed.
• Quality over quantity — of 800+ blogs I've run through it, only ~157 cleared the bar.
• Free, no account, no ads.
Building it solo (mostly pairing with AI) taught me the hardest part wasn't code — it was restraint: rejecting most posts even when they looked good.
Live on Android (iOS next). I'd genuinely love your feedback.
A weekly digest mode would be great for catching up on weekends without missing anything from the daily briefs.
