I built Hexbrief because my bookmarks folder had become a graveyard — 40 tabs and dozens of company engineering posts (Airbnb, Cloudflare, Stripe…) I meant to read and never did. A few deliberate choices: • Six, then you're done — a daily briefing, not an infinite feed. • Quality over quantity — of 800+ blogs I've run through it, only ~157 cleared the bar. • Free, no account, no ads. Building it solo (mostly pairing with AI) taught me the hardest part wasn't code — it was restraint: rejecting most posts even when they looked good. Live on Android (iOS next).
