Hi Product Hunt! I made Glance because the notch felt like wasted space.
My favourite part is Cinema mode: play a video in Chrome and your screen edges glow with its colours. If you use Claude Code, permission requests pop up in the notch so you can Allow or Deny without switching windows.
It is free, MIT licensed and installs with one Terminal command or Homebrew. I would love to hear what you would add next.
Putting Claude Code's Allow/Deny prompts in the notch is a fun use of that space. Easy to see why you would want those visible while working in another window.
