Glance turns the notch into a live island. Hover for music with lyrics, weather, calendar, a focus timer and football scores. Cinema mode makes your screen and Touch Bar glow with the video you watch. Claude Code approvals appear right in the notch. Free and open source.
Hi Product Hunt! I made Glance because the notch felt like wasted space.
My favourite part is Cinema mode: play a video in Chrome and your screen edges glow with its colours. If you use Claude Code, permission requests pop up in the notch so you can Allow or Deny without switching windows.
It is free, MIT licensed and installs with one Terminal command or Homebrew. I would love to hear what you would add next.
