I built Drawliner because I kept running into the same problem — I needed to do a quick PDF takeoff but didn't have Bluebeam installed on the machine I was using, or didn't want to pay $349/year for occasional jobs.
So I built a browser-based alternative. Here's what it does:
📐 Measurements — length, area, volume, angle, count, perimeter
📏 Scale calibration — draw a line over any known dimension, set your real measurement
🖊️ Markup tools — arrows, clouds, rectangles, polygons, highlighter, stamps, signatures
📊 Excel export — full takeoff table with quantities, labels, layers
🗂️ Organization — layers, spaces, statuses (In Progress, Complete, For Review, Rejected)
Everything runs in the browser. No account required to get started.
The honest limitations right now: no real-time collaboration yet, projects save locally (no cloud sync). Those are coming.
