Hi Product Hunt, I'm Krati, founder of finikigai.
The problem I kept running into wasn't spending too much. It was timing. Rent, a card statement, and an annual renewal would all land in the same few days, and I'd only find out when the balance was already too low.
Every budgeting app I tried showed me a chart of what I'd already spent. I wanted one number: what will my balance be next Tuesday?
So we built finikigai. Connect your banks and it reads your real transaction history to work out what recurs: which deposits are paychecks and how often they come, which charges are bills, and which checking account pays which credit card. Then it projects the balance of each account, every day, 30 days out (60 on Ultimate).
No categorizing, no envelopes, no budget to maintain. Just the dip, a few days early, while you can still move money.
