I have pretty much stopped using social media all together and have relied on whatsapp for sharing images with friends but this looks like a great way to keep it close to home but still have a platform to share with friends! Awesome work and well done for learning SWE so that you could build this yourself, really impressive!
I appreciate the simplicity and elegance. This app is ultimately what I'm looking for when I think of sharing photos and experiences with trusted friends and family. I would rather not ruminate about all the implications and unwanted parties involved in a typical media post. All I want to do is connect with my special people.
Aw, I love this. I used to use google photos but it got super buggy, especially when everyone has different OS's/devices. Wish I had this for my last family trip.

For over six months my wife and I have been using the app. We travel all over the country and are currently on a three month tour. We’ve had so many great experiences. This has made not only keeping the memories and the details of places we’ve been easy to look up later, it’s not just a place to store pretty pictures. It’s a story. I love the collaboration aspect of this app. Getting other people’s perspectives (authors)who are with us made it much more interesting than any other app I have ever used. Congratulations Galen! After using Elogram I realized that Apple photos is pretty much where all my core memories go deep in hiding until those random times (yearly?) when I look back.
I love the format. Having my photos and captions together in one place feels like it really celebrates the moment rather than just capturing it. It's an artifact I get excited to share and look back on!
