Hi Product Hunt community. 👋 I'm Henry and one of the founders of Crewting. Our coffee break app for Slack ensures a positive and good company culture in remote and hybrid teams and strengthens employee loyalty, true to our motto: "Turn isolated remote workers into deeply connected crews". 🤝 But what exactly is Crewting and how did we come up with the idea? 🤔 All of our founding team worked in hybrid or remote companies before starting Crewting. We're pretty big fans of these work models because they offer a lot of freedom and flexibility. But over time, we realized that it was very difficult to keep the culture alive, create good communication, and integrate new employees into the sense of togetherness. The result? Poor employee retention and low company identification, which is a big risk in the war of talent. 😦 We wanted to change that! That's why in 2022 we launched Crewting, our people & culture platform for German-speaking countries. An all-in-one platform that combines modules for employee networking and feedback processes. 🤗 Then last year, we decided to improve the culture of all remote teams around the world. That's why we built our coffee break app for Slack. And one thing was especially important to us. Bringing people together is one thing. But what bothered us about many solutions was that the functionality stopped after the matching. We wanted to change that. 💪 Crewting not only takes care of the intelligent matching of employees, but also ensures great conversations and unforgettable team moments through our interactive moderation during coffee break meetings. For example, employees can jump into our "who knows who" mode and experience a fun quiz together. 🥳 Our coffee break app is permanently free for up to 25 users. The app is installed and ready to use in minutes. So get started today and strengthen the culture of your remote team. 😎 P.s. If you're using Microsoft Teams instead of Slack, I can reassure you. Our coffee break app will be available for Microsoft Teams soon. If you are interested, feel free to send me a message on Linkedin. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my entire team for their support over the past months and years. You guys are the best! I would also like to thank our hunter @rohanrecommends for his support. 🙏 Last but not least, I would like to thank all of you for your support, suggestions and encouragement over the past few weeks. Product Hunt truly is a strong community. 💜 And now we look forward to your questions and feedback on our coffee break app. 🚀

It's like a virtual coffee shop right at your desk. Bringing teams together for a quick coffee break or a fun activity has never been easier. Love how it helps build stronger connections in a remote work setup.

wow, this is very interesting. After watching the video, I can't wait to try it out. I wonder if there is a voice translation function as my English proficiency is average. 💡

Congrats on the launch of Crewting, Henry! 🎉 Your app is a fantastic solution for enhancing remote team culture and connectivity. Excited to see the impact it will have! 🚀 #Crewting

Does everyone make their own coffee or does the coffee come from a machine? Congrats team!

Great product, Henry; congrats! I love the options for team bonding, and the Slack integration is a game-changer for ensuring it's in the flow of work. We have a small team & our virtual coffee breaks are scheduled but often the team is busy - how does the "come in it's coffee time" nudging &/or incentivising engagement work? Do you have any case studies of team bonding & engagement improvements you've seen over the 2 years during development?

@henry_burkert love the idea - how are you seeing the positive impact in real time thus far?

I missed you in 2020/2021 ! Great idea, WFH/full remote inside bigcompanies - must have congratulations!

I've seen some trend to getting back to on-site work from remote model and the reason is that people got less engaged and integrated into the company. But remote work and flexibility gives also lots of power! You suggest an interesting approach with Crewting!

Reminds me of Donut, which launched many years ago and managed to build a successful business around this concept. That observation, plus my personal experience working in virtual team makes me think there is definitely a market for a crewting solution!

Love the mission to bring more office like culture to our changing work environment! I can also see how this could improvement networking groups like Monday Girl even more with easier and more interactive engagement! Congratulations no the launch

Love the mission but I'm not really understanding what's new here. What was broken with Donut or other similar apps that inspired you to make this?

The coffee break concept looks promising for boosting remote team engagement! Do you plan to integrate with other collaboration tools besides Slack and Microsoft Teams?

This is a really cool idea - especially love that it's not just pairing people up, but actually has built-in ways to get conversations going! We use Slack a lot for work, but honestly, sometimes those "let's catch up" calls can be a bit awkward. Curious -- are the conversation prompts customizable, or does Crewting have pre-set themes? Congrats on the launch!

So happy to see all this positive feedback today. Working on this solution for such a long time and see people like it is so nice. The journey just started. Thank you all for that!
