Hi everyone! I'm a solo developer, and ChatPlikacia started because I felt many dating apps prioritize photos and subscriptions over genuine interaction. I wanted to experiment with a different approach where conversations come first.
The feature I'm most excited about is Daily Rooms. Every day, four strangers are placed into an anonymous chat. Names are hidden, profile photos are blurred, and as people participate in the conversation, identities gradually become visible. Before the room ends, everyone can send one Final Like, and mutual likes become matches.
I also chose not to lock basic features like unlimited swiping or seeing who liked you behind a paywall.

One thing that would make me way more comfortable joining those daily rooms: an option to flag or mute someone mid conversation without the whole room knowing, so if someone gets weird or inappropriate you can quietly check out without the social pressure of explaining yourself to strangers.

One thing I'd want is the ability to save or favorite a Daily Room conversation even if you don't match, so you can revisit someone you connected with but maybe weren't sure about in the moment. Would make the reveal feel less pressure-filled too.
