BookHoarder turns a local folder, S3 bucket, or Cloudflare R2 bucket into a browsable EPUB library. I started collecting EPUBs 9 years ago, and the collection has grown quite a lot. My books already live in an S3 bucket. The annoying part was browsing them and sending a book to my e-reader.
I tried several self-hosted tools. I could not find one with the simple interface I wanted that could also read directly from my existing object storage.

I made Bookhoarder open source under AGPLv3. Anyone can self-host it, modify it, and contribute improvements through GitHub.
