We wanted the opposite: a private map where a check-in, a photo, and a short note stay with the people you actually choose. Distant friends can still feel close — that is what Bilin means — without a public square, a follower count, or an endless scroll. Location stays under your control, and chat is end-to-end encrypted, because a private circle only works if the product treats it that way.
