Hi everyone, Juan from the Awtomated team here.
Awtomated started inside a translation agency. Our founder Rishi spent 15 years running one and kept seeing the same thing: project managers doing admin instead of managing clients. A job would come in by email, get quoted in a spreadsheet, tracked in Trello, and invoiced weeks later in a separate accounting tool, with the details retyped at every step.
The big platforms solve this, but they were built for large LSPs and priced that way, usually per seat, including the freelance translators. For a 5 to 20 person agency that math rarely works.
So we built one system where a job moves from request to quote to project to invoice without anyone copying data between tools:
- CRM and deal pipeline linked directly to projects
- Vendor portal where linguists get tasks, upload files and see their POs
- Automatic purchase orders, client invoices and vendor payment tracking, in any currency
- Profit per project, live
- Translation memory and a CAT editor with DeepL and Microsoft Translator as add-ons
Pricing is EUR 19 per internal user per month. Vendors and clients never pay. ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, hosted in Frankfurt.
