Hello everyone! Anvil is an idea that has been marinating with me since the coding agents era started. The chat interface seems like a first iteration for coding agents, but i dont feel is the right one for developers. Coding agents are getting better each day, but professionals with experience and fundamentals are the ones getting the most out of it. I wanted to see if we can abstract from a chat interface so agents are doing what they are supposed to do, work as tools. Anvil is also local-first & open-source, i believe the future of software will allow people to fully customize their workspace or tools of choice. Building on your own stack and owning your data has become more valuable than ever.
