Anvil
Local-first control plane for coding agents.
Run coding agents in parallel. Follow their work, review the diffs, and ship on your terms. Local-first. Open source.
Hello everyone! Anvil is an idea that has been marinating with me since the coding agents era started. The chat interface seems like a first iteration for coding agents, but i dont feel is the right one for developers.
Coding agents are getting better each day, but professionals with experience and fundamentals are the ones getting the most out of it. I wanted to see if we can abstract from a chat interface so agents are doing what they are supposed to do, work as tools. Anvil is also local-first & open-source, i believe the future of software will allow people to fully customize their workspace or tools of choice. Building on your own stack and owning your data has become more valuable than ever.

Who hunted Anvil?
Anvil was hunted by Lucas Pirito. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
