After nearly 20 years working in healthcare, I saw the same problem over and over: patients leaving the hospital overwhelmed by medications, discharge instructions, warning signs, and follow-up care. Many families wanted answers after they got home, but didn't know where to turn.
This became personal for me when my infant son was diagnosed with a rare medical condition. Even with a healthcare background, the experience was overwhelming. That inspired me to build something that could help others navigate recovery with greater confidence.
That's why I created Aimy—a multilingual AI recovery companion designed to support patients and caregivers during the critical first 30 days after hospital discharge.
