👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Marianne, founder of Aimy.
After nearly 20 years working in healthcare, I saw the same problem over and over: patients leaving the hospital overwhelmed by medications, discharge instructions, warning signs, and follow-up care. Many families wanted answers after they got home, but didn't know where to turn.
This became personal for me when my infant son was diagnosed with a rare medical condition. Even with a healthcare background, the experience was overwhelming. That inspired me to build something that could help others navigate recovery with greater confidence.
That's why I created Aimy—a multilingual AI recovery companion designed to support patients and caregivers during the critical first 30 days after hospital discharge. Patients can upload discharge instructions, ask questions in their preferred language, better understand medications, recognize warning signs, and prepare for follow-up care using trusted educational information.
Aimy isn't designed to replace healthcare professionals. Its purpose is to help patients better understand their care and feel more confident recovering at home.
