10Goals helps manage important long-term goals with clear structure, measurable progress and regular review. It keeps goals visible, makes progress and achievements easier to see, and helps maintain focus on what matters most even when daily tasks and routines take over. It stays intentionally focused, without turning goals into a mix of tasks, projects and productivity features.
We built 10Goals for people who already have a productivity system, but still feel their important goals get buried inside it.
ClickUp, Notion and similar tools are great when you need tasks, projects, docs, databases and wikis in one place. But that is also the problem for long-term goals. They become one more item inside a much bigger system, mixed with daily work and short-term execution.
We wanted the opposite: a clean place where you can see your goals, review them, track progress.
We also looked at the research behind goal setting while building it. Gail Matthews’ study at Dominican University found about 42% higher reported goal-achievement scores for people who wrote their goals down compared with people who only thought about them. Research on progress monitoring also shows that tracking progress can improve goal attainment.
We designed and built the iOS app to stay minimal, polished and focused, with smooth animations, doodles and a clear visual hierarchy.
One thing we were quite strict about while building 10Goals was what not to add.
Tasks belong in a task manager. Time belongs in a calendar. 10Goals should stay focused on goals, progress and review.
We use productivity tools a lot ourselves, so avoiding another “everything app” was important to us.
