We built 10Goals for people who already have a productivity system, but still feel their important goals get buried inside it. ClickUp, Notion and similar tools are great when you need tasks, projects, docs, databases and wikis in one place. But that is also the problem for long-term goals. They become one more item inside a much bigger system, mixed with daily work and short-term execution. We wanted the opposite: a clean place where you can see your goals, review them, track progress. We also looked at the research behind goal setting while building it. Gail Matthews’ study at Dominican University found about 42% higher reported goal-achievement scores for people who wrote their goals down compared with people who only thought about them. Research on progress monitoring also shows that tracking progress can improve goal attainment. We designed and built the iOS app to stay minimal, polished and focused, with smooth animations, doodles and a clear visual hierarchy.
