Top comment

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Mayank, maker of VidBar. I built VidBar because browser video players are weirdly limited. I kept wanting the same things across YouTube, Netflix, course sites, Twitch, and random HTML5 videos: better speed control, cleaner captions, quick screenshots, notes with timestamps, loops, volume boost, and a way to remove distractions. VidBar adds a lightweight floating toolbar on top of videos without replacing the original player. A few things I'd love feedback on: - Is focus mode useful enough to be the main feature? - Which workflow feels strongest: learning, creators, accessibility, or casual watching? - Are there any sites where you'd expect this to work but it doesn't? PH launch offer: EARLYBIRD Thanks for checking it out. I'll be here all day replying to feedback.
