Take4

A four-minute reset for stressful moments

Take4 is a short, guided reset for moments when everything feels too much. Four small physical moves, one minute each, until your body comes down.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Max, the developer behind Take4. My wife does the design and animations. We're building it together. The idea came from something personal: TIPP skills from dialectical behaviour therapy helped me through some very difficult moments. I wanted to make those steps easier to follow in an app, especially when thinking clearly is hard. Take4 walks you through four short steps: cold, movement, paced breathing and muscle relaxation. Each step waits until you're ready, and you can stop whenever you need to. The standard routine takes about four minutes, works offline and is free. Optional Take4 Plus lets you set your own timings, choose paced or box breathing, save the steps you want and skip an active step. We've put a lot of care into the guidance, design and animations. If you try it, I'd love to hear: was there a point where you weren't sure what to do next? Thanks for taking a look. We'll be here to answer questions.
