I'm a data analyst - checking whether a company's GA4/GTM setup can be trusted is a big part of my job. Doing it properly means digging through page source and the GTM container by hand: consent mode order, duplicate configs, legacy tags nobody removed. An hour or two per site.

It downloads the public gtm.js container and parses it with a brace-matching parser instead of regex, because that file has no documented format. Deterministic checks run straight on the HTML: consent mode, dual tagging, dataLayer order.
